During an initial consultation, Dr. Calabria will thoroughly explain the facelift procedure (“rhytidectomy”) and answer any questions you may have. It is extremely important for patients to be fully informed about the procedure prior to committing to surgery in order to achieve a satisfying outcome.
A key element in understanding potential results is viewing before and after photos of Dr. Calabria’s work. Doing so will allow you to see others who have undergone the facelift procedure; these would be patients at various ages and with different skin types. Some have found that they identify with a previous patient, and feel that they may be able to achieve a similar outcome. In addition, with the use of computer imaging, Dr. Calabria can show you a realistic image of your potential results.
